Aguttes closed its auction year on a high with the catalogue cover star at its December sale, a matching-numbers 1965 Alfa Romeo TZ from the Anna-Lisa Collection, successfully hammered away for €819,160 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France (estimate €800,000 – 1,200,000).
Other highlights from the 33-car collection included a stalled restoration project 1967 Lamborghini 400 GT that fetched a shade under its top estimate at €218,660. Strong demand for a 1973 Maserati Bora, one of 250 made with the larger 4.9-litre engine, saw it smash the €50,000 – 70,000 guide, bringing €107,740, and a 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 SZ that was comprehensively restored in 1992 went for €112,049 (estimate €100,000 – 150,000).
Elsewhere, the ex-Jean-Paul Belmondo 1982 Ferrari 512 BBi also proved popular, showing 41,000km and complete with its recently awarded Classiche certificate, it found a new home at €442,860 (estimate €350,000 – 450,000), while a 1962 Facel Vega Facellia F2B Cabriolet topped the French machinery at €91,220 (estimate €60,000 – 80,000).

Oldtimer Galerie returned to Gstaad, Switzerland for its annual sale where a one-owner Swiss-delivered 2018 Ford GT with only 600km led the results at CHF1,288,000 (estimate CHF950,000 – 1,150,000).
Other exotica changing hands above estimate included a 45,000-km 1995 Lamborghini Diablo VT, owned by the consignor since 2013, at CHF190,400 (estimate CHF160,000 – 180,000) and a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa with 52,100km at CHF151,200 (estimate 90,000 – 100,000).
