Coys headed down to the Nurburgring for their annual sale at the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix on 8 August. Top lots included a one-owner 1992 Ferrari F40, selling for €1,224,923; a 1937 BMW 328 Roadster, making €562,475 (estimate €490,000 – 600,000); a 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina 'Competizione' at €267,180 (estimate €280,000 – 380,000); and a 2000 Ford GT which brought €237,965 (estimate 180,000 – 250,000).
Highlights included a 1971 Lamborghini Espada which sold for €145,088 (estimate €140,000 – 160,000); a 1972 De Tomaso Pantera realised €63,854 (estimate €65,000 – 85,000); and a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 Cosworth which fetched €18,171 (estimate €12,000 – 16,000).
Competition cars finding new homes included a 1973 Ford Capri Group 2 making €48,760 (estimate €35,000 – 50,000) and a 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS at €84,670 (estimate €90,000 – 130,000).
