Aguttes hosted a sale at their base in the Parisian suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine on 22 April where the top honours went to a 1983 Lancia 037 Rally, changing hands for a mid-estimate €252,000.
Strong results included a 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 Roadster at €204,000 (estimate €120,000 – 180,000); a 1961 Lotus Elite FIA competition car at €96,000 (estimate €70,000 – 90,000); and a 1985 Porsche 911 3.2 converted to a ‘2.7 RS Look' at €69,600 (estimate €42,000 – 48,000).
Oldtimer Galeries’s pre-sale star attraction – a four-owner 1976 Lamborghini Jarama 400 GTS – headed the results at their 29 April auction, fetching CHF152,000 (estimate CHF175,000 – 185,000).
All three Sbarros on offer found new homes; a 1974 Sbarro Mille Miglia at CHF150,000 (estimate CHF155,000 – 165,000); a 1994 Sbarro SB2 Tornado at CHF125,000 (CHF130,000 – 140,000); and a 2000 Sbarro 550 Maranello large at CHF90,000 (estimate CHF95,000 – 105,000).
Other notable highlights included a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEb Cabriolet which brought CHF77,500 (estimate CHF75,000 – 85,000); a 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 made CHF60,000 (estimate CHF40,000 – 45,000); and a 1956 Bentley S1 just pipped its top estimate, selling for CHF31,000.
A 1971 Fiat Dino 2400 Coupe claimed the top spot at Garage61’s sale on 29 April, selling for €61,600 (estimate €58,000 – 75,000); while a 1959 Citroën 2CV achieved €19,600 (estimate €17,000 – 19,500), and a 1980 Porsche 928 S realised €19,040 (estimate €18,200 – 25,000).
