Classicbid hold their first sale of the year at Stuttgart’s Retro Classics show on 3 March. Top lot is a 1989 Aston Martin V8 Volante – supplied new to Monaco – with a pre-sale estimate of €250,000.
Other significant entries include a 99,600-km 1998 Porsche 911 Turbo, converted to Biturbo by FVD Brombacher (estimate €125,000); a 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale (estimate €115,000); a three-owner 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (estimate €115,000); and a 1974 De Tomaso Pantera, estimated at €95,000.
Elsewhere, highlights include a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL showing 100,905km – imported from the US in 2016 (estimate €25,000); a two-owner 34,600-km 1987 Ferrari Testarossa (estimate €105,000); and a 1963 Fiat 600 Jolly – restored at a cost of some €60,000 (estimate €75,000).
No fewer than 27 examples of Citroën’s elegant DS/ID model are due to go under the hammer at Osenat’s sale of the Perinet-Marquet Collection on 18 March. Star attractions are the 1969 Citroën DS 21 Cabriolet Usine, with a pre-sale estimate of €110,000 – 150,000; and the 1967 Citroën DS 21 LHM Cabriolet replica, estimated at €70,000 – 90,000.
Other highlights include a 1972 Citroën SM estimated at €15,000 – 20,000; a pair of Citroën Traction 15/6s, with estimates ranging from €20,000 – 35,000; and a Peugeot 304 S cabriolet estimated at €10,000 – 12,000.
The following day Osenat hold their second sale of the month, where a 1922 Salmson AL3 GSS Course heads the inventory with an estimate of €150,000 – 200,000.
Other big-ticket entries include a 1932 Chrysler Eight Cabriolet (estimate €120,000 – 160,000); a circa 1935 Auburn 851 SC estimated at €120,000 – 150,000; and a 1940 BMW 326 Cabriolet 2-Door (estimate €85,000 – 100,000).
Highlights among the ‘youngtimers’ include an 85,000km 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS (estimate €80,000 – 100,000); a 1982 Rolls-Royce Corniche Cabriolet, showing 41,000 miles (estimate €50,000 – 60,000); a 1992 Porsche 911 RUF (estimate €88,000 – 100,000); and a 1989 Maserati Bi-Turbo Spyder (estimate €8,000 – 12,000).
