Coys’ second sale of the month takes place during the InterClassics show in Maastricht on 13 January.
Star attractions among the 22 Porsches on offer include a two-owner 1956 356 Speedster which spent 48 years of its life in the US with its first keeper (estimate €280,000 – 320,000); a 77,000-km 1989 911 Turbo Cabriolet (estimate €180,000 – 250,000); and a 1995 911 Turbo, modified to S specification and now showing 43,000km (estimate €120,000 – 140,000).
A 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 which has covered less than 40,000km from new is estimated at €240,000 – 300,000; while a three-owner 1986 Aston Martin V8 Volante with some 14,000 miles on the clock is guided at €150,000 – 200,000 and a 1938 Bentley 4¼ Litre Sportsman’s Coupe with coachwork by De Villars which was exhibited at the 1938 Paris Motor Show is €130,000 – 160,000.
The sale also features a one-owner 1973 BMW 3.0 CS with an incredible 2,300km from new. Originally built to Group 6 specification as a spare for the owner’s racing team, it was retired from competition soon after the conversion was complete and subsequently stored for the next 30 years. Recently emerging from a 10 year restoration, the car is now offered with a fast road/race spec engine and is estimated at €65,000 – 85,000.
Other ‘70s classics include a 1974 Jensen Interceptor Convertible, originally residing in California (estimate €55,000 – 65,000); a 55,000-km 1974 Ferrari 308 GT4 (estimate €50,000 – 60,000); a restored 1975 Citroën DS 23 IE Pallas (estimate €30,000 – 40,000); and a 1975 BMW 3.0 S (estimate $15,000 – 20,000).
32 cars from the Louis Terzulli collection are set to go across the block at Osenat on 20 January. Highlight of the collection is a Talbot-Lago Grand Sport T26 GS chassis, believed to have been built around 1952, which has a pre-sale estimate of €100,000 – 150,000.
