The single-owner White Collection featuring 56 Porsches and hundreds of items of Porsche automobilia will be sold by RM Sotheby’s from the collection’s base in Houston between 1-2 December. Topping the catalogue is a 2015 918 Spyder 'Weissach' in factory-fresh condition with only 12 miles on the clock (estimate $2,500,000 – 3,000,000). The car is one of seven with million dollar-plus estimates, including a 15,226-km 1997 911 GT2 (estimate $2,000,000 – 2,200,000); a barely used 1993 911 RSR 3.8 with 70km, the second of just two Strassenversion cars (estimate $2,000,000 – 2,500,000); and an ex-factory demonstrator 1974 911 Carrera RS 3.0 showing under 30,000km, one of only 55 examples built to homologate the Carrera 3.0 RSR (estimate $2,250,000 – 2,750,000).

Gooding & Company are running a Geared Online sale in December, with bidding opening on the 4th and closing four days later. Star attraction is a matching-numbers 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight, one of four produced in Gulf Blue out of a limited run of 200 Lightweights (estimate $1,300,000 – 1,600,000).
Gooding’s 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 Roadster has been owned by the consignor for 25 years, and has covered less than 100 miles since an exacting restoration was completed (estimate $220,000 – 260,000).

RM Sotheby’s returns to New York a month after its successful Ferrari GTO sale, this time bringing a 17-car line-up to Sotheby's December Luxury Week series, where a 1993 Bugatti EB110 Super Sport Prototype is expected to fetch $3,000,000 – 3,400,000. Retained by the factory as a test car until their demise – during which time it was fitted with the engine from Bugatti’s world speed record-setting EB110 – it has covered only 3,528 km and was modified to road legal standards soon after its first owner’s purchase in 1997.
A 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC 6.0 AMG 'Wide-Body', believed to be one of the lowest mileage examples remaining with 4,898km, is guided at $600,000 – 750,000; while a 1953 Fiat 8V Supersonic that emerged from a three-year restoration in 2014 is $2,100,000 – 2,600,000.
