A Jaguar XJ220 is among the early entries at Oldtimer Galerie’s Gstaad auction on 29 December. The two-owner car has covered just 1,032km from new and recent maintenance included the replacements of the timing belts in 2011 and the fuel cell in 2014 (estimate CHF420,000 – 460,000).
Other highlights include a four-owner 1956 Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible, the subject of a seven year restoration which was completed in 2012 (estimate CHF430,000 – 470,000); a 1958 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster (estimate CHF1,100,000 – 1,200,000); a single-owner 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster ‘Turbo-Look’ with 88,000km (estimate CHF230,000 – 260,000); and a 1981 Volvo 262 C first owned by David Bowie (estimate CHF65,000 – 75,000).
Classicbid will hold their final sale of the year at Retro Classics Nuremberg on 9 December. German machinery dominates the entry list, headed by a 1978 Porsche 911 Turbo which has been owned by the vendor since 1978 and is optioned with every conceivable extra offered at the time (estimate €220,000 – 240,000). A 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 S convertible, originally supplied to the USA and imported back to Germany in 2015, is estimated at €130,000 – 140,000; and a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 convertible, also imported back from the USA in 2015, is listed at €60,000 – 65,000.
65 vehicles from The Reserve Collection at The Citroën Conservatoire are set to cross the block at Leclere’s sale on 10 December, to be held at Aulnay-sous-Bois. Highlights among the diverse inventory include a 1924 Citroën Type C (estimate €3,000 – 6,000); a 1953 Citroën Traction Avant 11 (estimate €5,000 – 7,000); a 2010 Citroën Tubik concept car – an homage to the H Van – displayed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show (estimate €20,000 – 30,000); and a Citroën C-Elysée WTCC 2014 (estimate €18,000 – 25,000).
