Auctionata heads to Hamburg for their Porsche Only sale on 12 December. Topping the 25 lots on offer are; a 1970 911 2.3 ST Group IV Special GT, one of only 10 produced, with a pre-sale estimate of €1,300,000 – 1,500,000; and an 8,294-km 1988 959 estimated at €1,200,000 – 1,400,000.
For sheer drama lot number 19 is hard to beat – a 935 Evocation and an accompanying 1968 Magirus transporter, estimated at €250,000 – 300,000 for the pair. The 935 was built for the American race driver Norm Goldrich using a 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo, with subsequent improvements and revisions following its change of ownership in 2000. The car has been raced regularly over the past 11 years, whilst the transporter is noted as having been out of service since 2011.
Other highlights include a 30,000-km 1989 911 Speedster which has formed part of a private collection and has been off the road since 2004. The car features the wide ‘Turbolook’ body (M491) and is described as being in 'very good unrestored, original and accident-free condition' (estimate €270,000 – 300,000).
Auctionata are also scheduled to hold a single-marque Mercedes-Benz auction in Berlin on 8 December. Star attractions include a 1938 320n Convertible A, one of just 10 examples produced, estimated at €560,000 – 650,000; and a 1956 300 Sc, one of 98 models built, of which only 12 were optioned with this car’s steel sliding roof (estimate €550,000 – 600,000).
Among the ‘youngtimers’ on offer is; a 6,712-km 2007 SLR McLaren with a pre-sale estimate of €580,000 – 650,000, a 2004 CLK DTM AMG (estimate €300,000 – 350,000) and a 2,307-km 2013 C63 AMG Black Series (estimate €140,000 – 150,000).
Stanislas Machoïr hold their end of year sale on 6 December in Toulouse, with 29 vehicles due to go under the hammer. Highlights include a 1982 Renault 5 Turbo Group IV Rally Car (estimate €110,000 – 150,000), an Alpine Renault FASA A110 (estimate €45,000 – 60,000) and a 1982 De Tomaso Pantera GT5 estimated at €120,000 – 150,000.
