Over 180 cars are set to cross the block at Classic Car Auctions on 3 August where the star attraction is a 15,500-mile 2007 Aston Martin Vanquish S in Morning Frost White, with a guide of £100,000 – 120,000.
Italian machinery on offer includes a 1996 Ferrari F355 showing 42,150 miles (estimate £60,000 – 70,000); a recently serviced 24,000-mile left-hand drive 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello (estimate £55,000 – 65,000); and a two-owner 69,000-km 1992 Alfa Romeo SZ, one of 1036 produced (estimate £38,000 – 42,000).
Potential buyers of BMW’s Z3M Coupe are spoilt for choice, with a two-owner 13,000-mile example listed at £40,000 – 45,000, a 62,900-mile 2001 S54-engined car at £35,000 – 45,000 and a 1999 model with 71,000 miles at £25,000 – 30,000.
A 1982 Range Rover ‘Octopussy 007’ Tribute has been consigned with a pre-sale estimate of £60,000 – 70,000. The car was built in 2018 by Bishop’s Heritage, who also carried out a meticulous nut-and-bolt restoration at the same time, together with a mechanical overhaul.
Other highlights include a 64,000-mile two-owner 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 (estimate £50,000 – 60,000) and a 33,000-mile 2000 Honda NSX (estimate £40,000 – 50,000); while a 1977 Mini 1000 that was upgraded by Wood & Pickett for its first owner Cilla Black is catalogued at £24,000 – 28,000.
A restoration project 1967 Aston Martin DB6 heads to Mathewsons’ 17 August sale, being sold on behalf of the late vendor. The car has been dry stored for the past 32 years awaiting restoration and is believed to be mostly complete. Mathewsons have been instructed to submit the best bid on the day for consideration by the executors.
Early entries at Morris Leslie on 17 August include a 66,800-mile 1984 Porsche 911 Turbo (estimate £55,000 – 65,000); a non-running garage find 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series III 2+2 requiring full restoration (estimate £8,000 – 10,000); and a 109,458-mile 2006 Rolls-Royce Phantom – with a vast RR service history – which started life as the chauffeured transport at a luxury hotel in Macau (estimate £65,000 – 70,000).
