Coys returns to Essen for its sale at Techno Classica on 8 April where the star attractions include a pair of Porsche 959s; an 8,000-km 1987 Speedster (estimate €1,200,000 – 1,500,000); and a two-owner 1988 Komfort model, showing 22,850km (estimate €850,000 – 950,000).
Other big-ticket entries include a 52,480-mile 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing which has spent most of its life in the US (estimate €950,000 – 1,100,000); and a 1938 BMW 328, owned by the vendor since 1971 (estimate €700,000 – 800,000).
Ferraris on offer include; a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC, showing 28,287 miles (estimate €550,000 – 600,000); a 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta, one of only 448 produced (estimate €370,000 – 420,000); and a 1983 Ferrari 512 BBi with 41,000km from new (estimate €240,000 – 280,000).
‘Youngtimers’ include a 43,000km 2003 BMW Z8 (estimate €190,000 – 230,000): a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II with 8,700 miles from new (estimate €190,000 – 220,000); a 2011 BMW M3 GTS, one of 150 made (estimate €195,000 – 215,000); and a 32,900-mile 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (estimate €160,000 – 190,000).
Other notable entries include a 1948 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 S Cabriolet (estimate €300,000 – 350,000); a 1968 Maserati Ghibli converted to a Spider in period (estimate €280,000 – 320,000); and a right-hand drive 1947 Delahaye 135M Cabriolet (estimate €200,000 – 250,000).
Boule heads to the Paul Ricard Circuit in southern France on 1 April where a 47,800-km 1998 Porsche 911 RS in Club Sport spec heads the inventory, with a pre-sale estimate of €290,000 – 350,000.
Other highlights include a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador showing 20,080km (estimate €270,000 – 320,000); a 4870-km 2002 Renault Clio V6 (estimate €50,000 – 60,000); a 47,900-km 2003 Lamborghini Murciélago with a manual gearbox (estimate €140,000 – 170,000); and a road legal 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge (estimate €75,000 – 90,000).
